What started as a small family business called ‘HB Brass & Copper’ has evolved into a leading architectural and kitchen hardware distributor and supplier in New Zealand. Over the last three and a half decades, we have honed our ability to provide quality, innovation, and exceptional service.

In becoming Archant in 2018, we chose to focus on being a champion project enabler, rather than simply a supplier and distributor. As enablers of great design, we continually strive to improve our offerings, making us a trusted and leading architectural merchant in New Zealand. By proactively searching the world for leading trends, the latest materials, and expertise, we bring the very best products and brands home to provide world-class design solutions. Whether residential or commercial projects, our mission is to deliver exceptional solutions to elevate spaces to the next level.

While we are still a 100% New Zealand owned family business, we have expanded with a network of showrooms in Auckland, Wellington, Christchurch, and Havelock North. Operating from our HQ in Hawkes Bay, we offer a full turnkey service delivered through our nationwide coverage. Our ability to deliver a full fabrication and installation service is underpinned by the calibre of our senior leaders. The team is led by Managing Director, Hamish Raikes, who is supported at a leadership level by Directors Sefton Clare and Garth Raikes, plus Advisory Board members Richard Judd, Managing Director of Cirtex, and Grant Currie, Managing Director of IBEX Lighting Solutions.
