To transform this residence into a more inviting living space, the designer Kelly Tormaschy of daVinci Proto leveraged the clever application of Wovenpanel™.
This project involved two key elements within a common living area designed to match and complement one another. The custom handrail and modular, suspended chandelier is brought to life with the double wire flat weave and open fill of the Bexley Wovenpanel™ design.
The appeal of the finished project is aided by the simplicity of a three-element design palette. From the stainless-steel architectural wire mesh screen, the black patina carbon steel, and the linear grain of the white oak, it boasts luxury while still providing functionality.
The light fixture is impressive not only in appearance, but it’s grand size. Measuring approximately 1.83 meters by 1.83 meters wide, it weighs about 77 kilograms. With its rigid quality, the Bexley woven wire mesh pattern provides ample strength, along with understated beauty to the large chandelier and the railing.
Bexley Wovenpanel™ has the right balance of spacing and wire diameter to create a subtle enhancement to any interior space. The Bexley creates a stylish and prestigious atmosphere with high-quality material and an intricate weave.
Most notably perhaps, is the way the mesh defines these unique elements while retaining an openness to the design.
